Marrakech Events — July 2026
Folklore at El Badi Palace, electronic music in the palm groves, Gnawa fusion at the Meydene and comedy under the stars — here is what is on in the Red City this July.
July is high season in Marrakech, and the city responds with its richest cultural calendar of the year. The flagship is the National Festival of Popular Arts (2–6 July), Morocco’s oldest festival, which turns the medina into a living museum of folk dance and music. The month also brings the SONARA electronic festival, headline concerts at the Meydene theatre, and a string of comedy and live-music nights.
