The 23rd Festival International du Film de Marrakech / المهرجان الدولي للفيلم بمراكش runs Friday 20 to Saturday 28 November 2026. That window is on marrakech-festival.com, on the accreditation portal, and in the 13 October 2026 communiqué that names Marion Cotillard as jury president. Use those dates. Do not use last year's week.

The 23rd competition grid is not online as of 16 October 2026. The site still says the official selection is coming. Conversations still listed on the homepage, Bong Joon-ho, Guillermo del Toro, Jodie Foster and the rest, sit on 29 November to 6 December. Those cards are leftover 22nd-edition dates. Ignore them until the festival republishes a 23rd grid.

Accreditation. Public and cinema-professional e-passes open 26 October 2026 on accreditations.festivalmarrakech.org. Press registration closes 31 October 2026. You must be 18 or over. The portal still writes "22nd edition" in one English paragraph while the header and the dates say 23rd, 20 to 28 November 2026. Trust the header. After validation you get an e-pass and an app code by email. Films in the Palais des Congrès Hall of Ministers are subtitled in Arabic, English and French unless a session says otherwise. Venues the accreditation page already names: Palais des Congrès, Hivernage, Hall of Ministers. Recent public editions also used Cinéma Colisée in Guéliz for young-audience screenings and Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech for some Conversations. La Tribune has mentioned an open-air night on Jemaa el-Fna in past years. The 23rd site has not posted 2026 titles or a Jemaa slot. Recheck marrakech-festival.com the week of 20 November before you plan a square screening.

The 13 October communiqué, Rabat, names Cotillard president of the jury that awards the Étoile d'Or to first and second features in the international competition. French line from that release: « J'ai la chance de venir au Festival de Marrakech depuis ses tout débuts, c'est l'ADN de ce festival. » The other jury names are not in that communiqué. Colisée is a Guéliz drop. Do not drive into the médina for the Palais.
