Trail Desert Agafay / تريل صحراء أغافاي

The sixth Trail Desert Agafay is Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November 2026. Trail Maroc's presentation page and the official programme both print those two days. CRT Visit Marrakech still shows a 20 to 22 November window on a leftover listing. Trust the organiser: race days are 21 and 22. The village, bib desk, starts and finishes sit at Camp Le Bédouin Agafay, a few kilometres south of Marrakech in the stone desert, not the sand dunes of Merzouga.

Saturday 21 November is bike. Bike Oxygène is 30 km, 428 D+, 5-hour limit, 700 MAD on the Trail Maroc boutique as of 26 October 2026. Bike Fly Me To The Moon is 60 km, 898 D+, 7-hour limit, 900 MAD. Common start 09:30 after a 09:15 briefing. Village opens 06:30. Last bike bibs at the camp 07:00 to 08:00. Bike bibs can also be collected Friday afternoon at Planet Sport, Carré Eden, Avenue Mohammed V, 14:00 to 18:00 on the programme PDF dated 18 October 2026. Prize ceremony 12:30. Optional dinner-show 20:00 in the Pergola, 400 MAD, on reservation.

Sunday 22 November is trail. Marathon Desert 42 km, 631 D+, 7-hour limit, 800 MAD, briefing 07:45, start 08:00. Trail White Camel 23 km, 245 D+, 4-hour limit, 610 MAD, briefing 09:15, start 09:30. That 23 km is also the second day of Challenge Agafay. Trail du Bédouin 11 km, 150 D+, 3-hour limit, 490 MAD, and the new Nomade 15 km, 180 D+, 550 MAD, share a 10:15 briefing and a 10:30 start. Challenge Agafay is the two-day combined, 83 km, 1 143 D+, 1 000 MAD: Saturday's 60 km bike then Sunday's 23 km trail. Companion village tickets are 280 MAD per day. Cannondale hire is 300 or 450 MAD depending on the frame, collected at camp from 20 November.

A Sunday shuttle leaves Bab Jdid at 06:30 toward Agafay and returns at 16:00, 100 MAD return on the boutique. Overnight shuttle to the camp is 500 MAD. Bivouac tents at Le Bédouin are sold as a 21 November default: single 1 500 MAD per room, double 2 100 MAD per room, triple 850 MAD per person. CRT's leftover card still lists older distances from the 2025 grid, including a 60 km ultra that is not on the 2026 boutique. Use the live shop and the 2026 presentation page.

Bring desert sun cover, a full bottle, and a way to pay at the village. The course runs pistes, oueds and Amazigh villages with Atlas views. Trail Maroc's own rule PDF is linked from the presentation page. Entries stay open on boutique.trailmaroc.com until the organiser closes each distance. If you only want to watch, buy a companion ticket rather than walking into the village without a dossard.
